The Professional Development Center, run by the Aga Khan Education Services Pakistan, is a residential campus dedicated to the education and training of teaching staff. It consist of an academic building with classrooms, library, and faculty offices, and staff housing with amenities.
The HSS Gilgit is the flagship institution of the AKESP school network in the Northern Areas. It caters to 600 students, and provides classrooms, laboratories, libraries and all other educational facilities in a scenic mountainous setting.
